One of the most frequently asked questions that I receive is how to get bigger. It is really simple but most people make it way too complicated. Let me make it clear, I said was “simple” but I didn’t say it was “easy.” You really have to work hard at it.
To make it simple, you have to lift some serious weight and attempt to beat your own personal record every session. Strength and muscle building is somewhat correlated. You’ve got to get stronger if you want to get bigger.
Lift big and focus on big compound movements like the one that I have in this muscle building video. This is an excellent is a workout routine to get you started.
There is only one rule:
Perform 2 sets of 8 reps for each exercise with 2.5 minutes of break in between sets. That’s it.
Here are the exercises:
Barbell Squat 2×8
Bench Press 2×8
Deadlift 2×8
Weighted Pull up 2×8
Front Squat 2×8
Military Press 2×8

it’s hard to explain…if your doing low weight and high reps it’s not bad for your shoulders…but if you’re doing like 75% of your max and putting up 6 reps it makes more sense to only let your elbows hit 90 degrees otherwise like seymore said you will put too much pressure on your shoulders and actually risk injury
